A white label is a rented platform with your name on it. The supplier brings the games, the wallet, the cashier plumbing and the reporting; you bring the brand, the acquisition and, in most arrangements, the licence question. It is the fastest way to launch and the least flexible way to operate, and both halves of that sentence are true at once.
What is yours and what is not
| Layer | Typically the supplier’s | Typically yours |
|---|---|---|
| Game catalogue | Yes — supply, entitlement, pricing | Which studios you switch on |
| Wallet and transactions | Yes | Nothing, and this is the point of the model |
| Cashier and payment rails | Usually, through their providers | Sometimes your own PSP, if the platform allows it |
| Front end and brand | Template | Design, copy, localisation |
| Player data | Held on their platform | Access, and whether you can take it with you |
| Support and retention | Optional service | Usually yours |
The three questions people forget to ask
- Can you leave? Player data, transaction history and balances — in what format, on what notice. A platform you cannot exit is a platform that sets your margin later.
- Whose PSP? If the cashier is theirs, your payment economics and your rupee success rate are theirs too. On an India-facing brand that is most of your funnel.
- What is the real cost per studio? A blended revenue share hides which provider is expensive. Ask for the grid, per provider, and compare it to what you will actually run.
Sportsbook is a separate decision
Cricket is the largest betting market in India by volume, so an India-facing brand usually wants a sportsbook next to the casino, ideally on one balance. That is a different supply chain with a different feed and a different margin, and it is worth deciding before launch rather than bolting on afterwards. Player-side context is on our cricket betting page.

Frequently asked questions
What is a white label casino?
A platform operated by a supplier and presented under your brand. The games, wallet and reporting are theirs; the brand, the design and the acquisition are yours.
What should I check before signing a white label deal?
Exit terms and data portability, whose payment providers run the cashier, and the cost grid per game provider rather than a blended revenue share.
Is white label cheaper than building?
Cheaper to start and more expensive to run at scale. The crossover comes when you want your own payment cascade, bonus engine or game shelf.
